Tips for better results
- Shoot or frame with the crop in mind. Going 16:9 to 9:16 removes most of the width, so anything important near the left or right edge will not survive.
- Tick every ratio you will actually post in one run. Coming back later costs the same per ratio, and you avoid hunting for the source again.
- Keep on-screen text centred in the original. Text placed low or wide is the first thing a vertical crop cuts.
- Reframe before you add captions, not after. Captions burned in at 16:9 get cropped or shrunk by the vertical pass.
