Every idea in your backlog, with its cover photo ready

This featured image generator reads an idea from your Publiz backlog and pre-fills the prompt from its title and content. Save the result you like as the feature image, and it rides along when the idea becomes a post.

How it works

  1. 1

    Pick an idea

Search your active ideas by title, content or tag.

  2. 2

    Check the prompt and generate

It is filled in from the idea. Tweak it, choose count, size and quality, then Generate.

  3. 3

    Save as feature image

Click it on the one you like and it is attached to the idea.

What you can make

Bloggers planning a month ahead

Go down the backlog once and give every planned post its header, so writing day is just writing.

Content teams in review

An idea with a picture is easier to approve or reject than a title on a list.

Solo founders posting about their work

No more hunting for a stock photo at publish time. The image is already waiting on the idea.

Agencies juggling client calendars

Visuals stay tied to the idea they belong to, instead of floating in a shared folder with vague file names.

Tips for better results

  • Write ideas with a concrete picture in mind. "Morning routine for remote workers" gives a far better image than "productivity tips".
  • Trim the pre-filled prompt. A long idea draft has plenty of words that are not visual, and cutting them to the scene you picture keeps the image on topic.
  • Pick the size for where the post goes. Landscape for a blog header or LinkedIn, portrait for stories and Pinterest.
  • Do not ask for a headline in the image. Results lean photographic and steer away from text, so add titles later in the post itself.
  • Generate two or three and save the one that still reads at thumbnail size. That is how most people will see it in a feed.

Frequently asked questions

What does "Save as feature image" do?

It attaches that image to the idea. When you later convert the idea into a post, the image is added as the post’s first media item, so you do not have to find it again.

I do not see any ideas. Why?

The picker lists active ideas only, up to 100 of them. Create one on the Ideas page first, or check that the one you want has not been archived or already turned into a post.

How is this different from the regular image generator?

The prompt starts from your idea instead of a blank box, the look is steered toward clean photography, and the result can be linked straight to the idea. The regular generator sends your prompt exactly as written.

Is it free?

No. Each run spends AI credits from your Publiz account, billed per output image. Credits are bought as a pack, new accounts start with none, and AI tools need a paid plan.
